Let Hope Blossom is for everybody and we strive to make the event as accessible as possible.

The event asks the question “Where do you see hope blossoming?” of all who attend and give the public a chance to record a voice note, some of which will make up the soundscape which is central to the event.
As part of the soundscape there will be an integrated audio description of the blossom structure, blossom performers and their costumes which will be repeated every 15- 20 minutes.
There will be members of the team on hand if you require assistance.
There is level access at each event location, and a mix of seating will be available, including bench and backed seating.
The event is held outside and in natural lighting. There is no strobe lighting.
Deaf Access

There will be BSL interpretation available at each of our activation events in Manchester, London and Sunderland. They will interpret the cameo speakers who will pop up on the structure at several points across the day and will also be available to interpret for our facilitators and assist so that everyone can take part in sharing their messages of hope.

Gender neutral, single sex and accessible toilets can all be found at HOME, 2 Tony Wilson Place Manchester M15 4FN. In addition there is also a changing places toilet and baby changing facilities.
GETTING HERE
By Car
The nearest car park is Q-Park at First Street.
Blue Badge Parking
Q-Park First Street multi-storey carpark has 28 accessible parking spaces. Blue Badges are not valid for free parking. You can find alternative Blue Badge parking on the Manchester City Council website here.
By Tram
The nearest Tram stop is Deansgate Castle Field, which is a 5 minute/320m walk away - the tram system has step free access.
By Train
The nearest train station is Manchester Oxford Road, which is a 7 minute/480m walk away. This train station has partial step free access.
By Bus
The 256 bus runs from from Piccadilly Gardens - all buses are level access and are wheelchair accessible.

London
Access
There is level access around the park. The majority of paths are gravel tarmac mix, flat with slight inclines up to bridges. This event takes place on a grassed area which is uneven in places and may become muddy in wet weather
Toilets
Toilets and baby changing facilities are located in the Stableyard, Snuff Mill, Garden Centre and Potting Shed Café. Accessible toilet located in the Snuff Mill, Garden Centre and Potting Shed Café.

By Car
There is a car park on the left (second green gate), it is a pay and display. There is limited parking available onsite, please consider other ways to get here.

Blue Badge Parking
Four disabled car park spaces located along the edge of the car park, nearest to Potting Shed Café and Garden Centre.
By Tube
Morden (Northern Line) is a 450m walk along Aberconway Road. There is step free access at this station.
By Train
Tramlink to Phipps Bridge stop, on park boundary ½ mile walk from Stableyard.
By Bus
The following bus routes stop on the boundary of the park: 45, 80, 157, 164, 201, 470, and 93. The K5 route terminates at Morden Station, a 450m walk away along Aberconway Road.
